International Concern

17. The drug war against Mexican cartels is an international problem. It is an international problem because the leaders of the cartels are wanted almost all over the world. The cartel leaders are know for distributing drugs and killing people. This has a negative impact on me because I have family that lives in Mexico and I am worried something bad is going to happen to them. When I go visit them I am afraid something will happen to us, because these people don't care and start shooting and killing inocent people. I would like for this drug war to end so that people can go out to the streets and not be scared.  

School Campus

18. If I had the chance to change two things in our campus one would definitely be the bell schedule and the other would be the food they serve. The bell schedule we have is the most tedious of all, we have block schedule and an SMI (1 extra hour in class, it always rotates from one period to another period), this means we are in one class for two hours and forty minutes, like if one hour forty minutes is not enough. What I would do is take away SMI and made school end at 2:05 p.m. If taking away SMI and leaving at 2:05 p.m. would not be possible, then I would change from block schedule to normal 1 through 6 everyday. This change would benefit almost every student because there are some that don't like block schedule and others that prefer having every class every day so that they constantly see the material and don't forget it the next day. The second thing I would change is the food. Everyday we get the same food they never change it, it's always pizza, salad, spicy chicken, a bowl, and breadsticks. The food we get is always cold like if they had it on the fridge and just put it in the oven to make it warm. Every week I would change the food so that students don't eat the same thing over the year. If changing the food was not possible I would at least make sure that the food we get is from that same day and hot. These would be the two things I would change in our campus.

School Attendance

19. School attendance should be mandatory because education is the basic of life. What ever your purpose in life is you need to have an education. Without education you would not be allowed in any place to work. To succeed in life you need to have education, without education you will not be nothing more than a simple person. If you want to be a doctor, teacher, etc. you need education. In this nation if you finished school and have education of something you will start getting a well paid job and most important of all you will be succeeding in life. If people dont attend school this nation would be one of the most dangerous to live in. People who are not educated would have to steal or rob in order to have some money, and this leads to violence. This is why I think school attendance should be mandatory, to keep young people away from violence.



Dogs

20. If I had the ability to talk to an animal I would like to talk to dogs. It is said that dogs are men's best friend and I would like to talk to many dogs and ask them if this is true. Maybe, if I talked with a dog that lives with rich people and is treated very well most likely this dog will say yes, because of how he is traeted. On the other hand, if I got to talk with a dog that is not treated that well, probably the dog would say no to my question. I would also like to ask them what is what they think is the best feature an owner could have with the animal. Another thing I would ask a dog is why do they attack peolpe, what makes them take this decision. Is it because they think that person is going to hurt them and the dog wants to defend it self, or is it because that person has done something bad to the animal and the dog wants its revenge or what is it? This is why I would like to talk to dogs if I had the ability to talk to any specie.
